Bas Armagnac Marie Duffau Napoleon

Using only estate grown grapes from the heart of Bas Armagnac, this 6 year old expression has a complex array of aromas. Dried fruits such as prunes, apricots, and raisins fill the headspace of the glass. The taste has warming flavors of caramel, plum, and spice that leave your palate fully coated and fulfilled.

A single, slow distillation at low temperatures enables more flavors, fatty acids and character to remain in the spirit.

70% Ugni blanc (gives a good foundation), 20% Baco (gives roundness), 5% Colombard (herbal aromas) and 5% Folle Blanche (floral notes). 100% Gascon oak barrels for tannins, spice and dark color.

No pesticides or fertilizers

Flavors of cocoa, orange rind, cake batter and vanilla. Soft tannins on the finish and a touch of rancio to come. Minimum 6 years old.
