Terah Bajjalieh is a winemaker and certified sommelier from the Bay Area, California. A native Californian, Terah refined her unique style and found her love of wine by way of food and from her travels across the globe. She is a Level 2 Certified Sommelier through the Court of Master and holds the WSET Level 3 Award in Wine & Spirits.
The Bassi Vineyard, situated just 3 miles from the San Luis Obispo Bay farms these Pinot Gris grapes organically and with biodynamic principals. Whole cluster fermentation witg skins for 4 days to provite additional texture, structure and flavor as it was historically done in Italy. Native yeast fermentation. Unfined and unfiltered.
On the nose this wine has aromas of white flowers, grapefruit zest, lime, tart rhubarb, underripe strawberries, cardamom and vanilla. On the palate this wine is quite layered and vibrated between acid, chalky tannins and minerality.
Pair with fall salads, beets, goat cheese, pomegranate candied walnuts, cranberries, turkey, and yams.
