
Twenty five years ago, master distiller Don Carlos and his family planted their first agave in the Highlands of Jalisco Mexico with a plan to create a true farm-to-glass tequila.
“A strong house is built on a solid foundation” is the one quote you may hear from him directly. The rest he says, “speaks for itself”.
The location of the Tepozán distillery was chosen by means of a simple wire divining rod, revealing a natural mineral spring 405 meters underground.
Today, Tepozán is one of the few tequilas on the market that is fully grown, processed, and bottled at the source.
Aroma: Honeyed and lush. Roasted lemon, guajillo pepper, achiote, vanilla, flan.
Taste: Round and generous. Spice of oak, brown sugar, pineapple sage, creamed mid-palate.
Finish: Plush and lasting. Caramel, coriander, clove
