Witbier went extinct in the 1950’s, and was resurrected by Pierre Celis at Hoegaarden in the 70’s. This spiced, soft, and refreshing beer became a hit. And although the new witbier was not sour like its ancestor, it still retained some of its wild, raw, doughy character.
Temescal White is a faithful re-creation of this modern classic. With its bright, quenching, sessionability, witbier was destined for our patio.
