Mezcal Melate's mission is to showcase producers and small batch, limited release mezcals. Mezcal is the first distillate of the Americas and by far the most complex plant to be made into alcohol. As mezcal is rapidly discovered around the world, it’s very challenging for consumers to fully grasp exactly what it is, where it comes from, and how to fully enjoy its many nuances that make it so unique and exciting.
These agave spirits have been carefully curated. They believe that if mezcal can be understood and appreciated at its full potential, people will show their preference for quality artisanal mezcal- sustainably and fairly sourced.
This Sotol was produced by Luis Carmelo Vazquez in Durango. Flavor notes include Carrot greens, earthy sweetness, delicate and vegetal.
