Home Base Bourbon and Oakland Art MurMur Collaboration bottle is now available!
Kick off the summer with a bottle of Home Base Spirits bourbon that celebrates and supports Oakland’s creative community!
This year, Oakland Art MurMur is collaborating with Home Base Spirits, a female-founded and Bay Area based artisanal spirits business supporting local artists. Together, the collaboration celebrates 2022 with the theme Silver Linings. Through our public Call For Artists, we will select an Oakland-based artist to design a custom label for a limited edition, special release bottling of Home Base Spirit’s flagship bourbon. Our winning artist is Ari Takata-Vasquez whose artwork is featured on the Silver Linings bottle!
Bottles will be available for a limited time only.
This flagship bourbon is a balanced and delicate grain-forward whiskey made with sustainably grown corn, rye, and lots of malted barley.
The whiskey is aged in new American oak barrels at char 3, allowing the flavors from the high malt content - honey, maple, and nut - to compliment the caramel, toffee, and vanilla notes typical of bourbons.
