Granicera Gin fuses artisanal distillation with the botanical richness of Mexico. Its' different profiles are produced by Taller Astrafilia, using corn alcohol, juniper berries, and the spirit of 30 regional plants; the majority native and endemic to Mexico.
Granicera production starts with an alcohol made from native corn, the most representative food of Mexico. Botanicals such as juniper berries, cacao, Hoja Santa, cinnamon, damiana, angelica, chamomile, lemon verbena and white sage are added, along with lavendar, hops, spearmint, rosemary, basil, licorice, allspice and nutmeg. The result is a beautiful winter gin that balances orange citrus and cacao notes.
With a process of maceration and steam distillation in copper pot stills, the result is small batches of a unique drink rich in personality.
