Made from a maceration of 25 aromatic herbs and roots including wormwood, gentian, bitter orange peel, rhubarb, and hyssop. A classic herbal aperitif that is great by itself or in cocktails. The sweet notes of rhubarb and candied orange peel gives way to a balancing bitterness from wormwood and gentian.
An infusion of herbs and roots based on an 1860’s recipe, compared to other potable bitters, softer with more spice than citrus. Try with sparkling water, in an Americano, or Negroni. The spice pairs beautifully with whiskey - making it our fave Boulevardier bitter.
