“For Heaven’s Sake” is unfined, unfiltered.
On the nose: fresh saline and rocks, sliced melon and sweet florals.
On the palate: tangy, fleshy at midpalate, with Queen Anne cherry and tangerine mingling with paprika, citrus zest, and a mouthwatering salinity on the finish.
Cofermented 57% Pinot gris and 43% Grüner veltliner for 9 days in an open-topped fermentor, pressed at 7 brix in a basket press, then aged the wine for 7 months in neutral French oak and stainless steel tank.
