65% Syrah + 35% Carignan
Hand sorted grapes were whole clustered foot-stomped. Syrah was direct to press and Carignan cold soaked for 6 hours then basket pressed into a stainless steel tank with the Syrah. Co-fermented for 21 days in stainless with a small amount of pressed skins. Racked to neutral oak and aged on Sonoma Coast ocean stones for 6 months.
No additions or subtractions. Unfined, unfiltered, zero SO2.
Fruit forward with notes of bright red currant, cherries and a touch of minerality. Pair wells with a summer BBQ, grilled seafood and swimming pool hangs.
